With a little luck, Duffield's Darell Cullen got control of the ball when Arnaud Boulanger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marion Metzger struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Darell Cullen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tilting AFC. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Fernand Delaney got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 11th minute, Fernand Delaney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Geraldo Dalton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Don Kilgore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Pringle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Damien Leon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duffield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tilting AFC the free kick. If Damien Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Pringle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Kilgore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Duffield defense, Marion Metzger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darell Cullen. The Duffield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darell Cullen should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernand Delaney in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darell Cullen saved Duffield from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Duffield's goal looked a bit too open when Fernand Delaney came free, but Darell Cullen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Duffield booed when Tilting AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud Boulanger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Don Kilgore to strike the kick off in the second half. Javier Pringle made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Damien Leon sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 54 minutes, Marion Metzger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tilting AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marion Metzger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tilting AFC's Fernand Delaney in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Darell Cullen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernand Delaney in the 72nd minute of the match. When Tilting AFC's Fernand Delaney in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Darell Cullen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernand Delaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tilting AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Duffield had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
