In the 5th minute, Merle Blankenship left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pocologan AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dillon Parenteau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Philibert Margand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dillon Parenteau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philibert Margand having to interfere. Philibert Margand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dillon Parenteau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivory Dougherty's late challenge caught a Pocologan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivory Dougherty helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Tadoussac AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivory Dougherty to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Barton McCloud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gaétan Parks fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tadoussac AFC's protests and gave Gaétan Parks a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Tadoussac AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaétan Parks to maneuver through the defense. If Merle Blankenship had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tadoussac AFC's Ivory Dougherty got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Pocologan AFC were awarded a corner. Leopoldo Burrell went to the cornerflag to take it. Pocologan AFC's Leopoldo Burrell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Philibert Margand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Arthur Henry came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tadoussac AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Henry couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Merle Blankenship managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocologan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Merle Blankenship was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philibert Margand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Merle Blankenship might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philibert Margand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merle Blankenship ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthur Henry scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambroise Dean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 played minutes Pocologan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dillon Parenteau. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Henry got free with Ambroise Dean in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Merle Blankenship had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pocologan AFC's Seymour Horton got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Bruce Wolf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes, Bruce Wolf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocologan AFC and the Tadoussac AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pocologan AFC's Bruce Wolf got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Arthur Henry could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Ambroise Dean however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Ambroise Dean managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Tadoussac AFC's Amos Phillips fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dillon Parenteau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philibert Margand having to interfere. Arthur Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
