Ambroise Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marion Metzger in the 12th minute of play. If Merle Blankenship had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambroise Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernand Delaney in the 20th minute of play. Marion Metzger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ambroise Dean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Pocologan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Wolf to maneuver through the defense. Ambroise Dean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernand Delaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Merle Blankenship's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Javier Pringle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Merle Blankenships short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Javier Pringle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 1-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Dillon Parenteau elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Marion Metzger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambroise Dean. Pocologan AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marion Metzger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 60th minute, Dillon Parenteau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Fernand Delaney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambroise Dean was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 66 played minutes Pocologan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Seymour Horton. Dillon Parenteau might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Pringle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dillon Parenteau ran back to his position shaking his head. Ambroise Dean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marion Metzger in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Marion Metzger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pocologan AFC's Dillon Parenteau got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tilting AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
