In the 19th minute, Clayton Kauffman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nigel James. The goal made the score 3-0. The long shot by Bernardo Deniger in the 21st minute really tested Nigel James's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Duncan Malone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Malone in the 32nd minute of play forced Cannington AFC's goalkeeper Nigel James to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Demetrius Marquez put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nigel James. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Rickey Bériault put in a rough tackle. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Walcott! 72 minutes into the game, Cannington AFC's Scottie Whatley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benoit Laliberté made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Guy Rochon kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Cannington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrius Marquez came free, but Nigel James reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcus Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel James showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrius Marquez in the 84th minute of the match. Reinaldo Salgado's late challenge caught a Walcott's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. Reinaldo Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Demetrius Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Walcott fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demetrius Marquez couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Cannington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrius Marquez came free, but Nigel James reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrius Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel James having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Walcott's Demetrius Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nigel James narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Walcott's Demetrius Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demetrius Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
