Fabien Martineau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chang Leon went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fabien Martineau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dong Maloney, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Jérôme Johns recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wally Todd. Jérôme Johns showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 28 minutes, Drew Cordero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yarmouth AFC and the Hampton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Drew Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Yarmouth AFC booed when Hampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michale Wesley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabien Martineau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chang Leon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Fabien Martineau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chang Leon in the 42nd minute of the match. The wind increased when Chang Leon made the kick off in the second half. Carl Lanctot struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hampton's Fabien Martineau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chang Leon in the 60th minute of play. In the 68th minute Carl Lanctot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wally Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dong Maloney did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Fabien Martineau 69 minutes into the match. If Jérôme Johns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Yarmouth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Floyd. In the 83rd minute, Jérôme Johns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 played minutes, Hampton's Kelvin Ervin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wally Todd came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hampton reached it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
