In the 6th minute Kris Guillory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Choi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barney Barlow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Rhéaume having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Benny Kimbrough was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haileybury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armand-Lavergne FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Haileybury's Benny Kimbrough got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ollie Rhéaume came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Armand-Lavergne FC's Barney Barlow. But to his dismay, Barney Barlow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute Dustin Austin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 19 played minutes Armand-Lavergne FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaylord Melendez. Maurice Gaines in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Terry Choi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Terry Choi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kris Guillory in the 25th minute. Armand-Lavergne FC's Nicolas Chatigny managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Terence Driscoll in the 27 minute of the game. Barney Barlow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ollie Rhéaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Dane Chevrette suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Allan Duplanty fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haileybury's protests and gave Allan Duplanty a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Haileybury's Allan Duplanty got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Terry Choi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Kimbrough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Benny Kimbrough kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Terry Choi. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Barney Barlow charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barney Barlow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Barney Barlow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Armand-Lavergne FC's goalkeeper Terry Choi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurice Gaines. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurice Gaines made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Haileybury's goal looked a bit too open when Okanay Ocak came free, but Ollie Rhéaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Maurice Gaines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haileybury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurice Gaines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armand-Lavergne FC's Okanay Ocak managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wade Beaulé in the 63 minute of the game. Maurice Gaines blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Terry Choi having to make a save. Terence Driscoll made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Armand-Lavergne FC's Nicolas Chatigny. Edmund Schneider hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Maurice Gaines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terry Choi having to interfere. Terry Choi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Kimbrough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armand-Lavergne FC's attentive Nicolas Chatigny managed to snatch the ball when Terence Driscoll made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Terry Choi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Guillory, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Maurice Gaines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Terry Choi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gaston Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armand-Lavergne FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Haileybury had controlled the match.
