Harry Deserres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Beaulac in the 11th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Gaultois AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dillon Ladner. Anselme Chalifour made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Roderick Cousteau sent off a good shot on target. Anselme Chalifour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Rock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rosetown FC's Cliff Lentz got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Albert Beaulac came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gaultois AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Beaulac couldn't finish the play. Roderick Cousteau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Delmar Rock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselme Chalifour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Gaultois AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Denton. 59 minutes into the match, Gaultois AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Rock came free, but Anselme Chalifour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Cortez got free with Harry Deserres in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yves Pittman kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Thomas Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Cortez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Harry Deserres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roderick Cousteau in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselme Chalifour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Deserres having to interfere. Anselme Chalifour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Rock in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Gaultois AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dillon Ladner to maneuver through the defense. Gaultois AFC's Albert Beaulac got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaultois AFC's Thomas Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harry Deserres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Beaulac, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gaultois AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
