With a little luck, Armand-Lavergne FC's Terry Choi got control of the ball when Gene Shepard tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barney Barlow in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burt Benoit saved Whitworth AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Whitworth AFC's zone, Barney Barlow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The crowd rose to their feet as Whitworth AFC's Thibault Draper slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Terry Choi. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute, Barney Barlow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Dane Chevrette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Burt Benoit was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Armand-Lavergne FC's Alexis Nadeau got a free kick in the 38th minute. Barney Barlow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Burt Benoit was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Okanay Ocak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. Burt Benoit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armand-Lavergne FC. Barney Barlow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burt Benoit having to interfere.
