Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thibault Draper made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Thibault Draper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitworth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibault Draper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olen Clemons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gene Shepard took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olen Clemons. Olen Clemons dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Brady Feliciano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Burt Benoit. Whitworth AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 12 played minutes Whitworth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sal Godin. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Wilburn Herman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Burt Benoit made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Wilburn Herman sent off a good shot on target. When Fabian Roy came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Rockport AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Roy couldn't finish the play. Thibault Draper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olen Clemons having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Whitworth AFC's Gene Shepard made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olen Clemons was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st match minute, Rockport AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Roy to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rockport AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Geoffroi Ortiz hit a great ball. Thibault Draper spun around in front of the goal 34 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Rockport AFC's goal. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Whitworth AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maurice Ennis was slow to take the kick. During this time Rockport AFC's players had a chance to rest. Olen Clemons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibault Draper in the 41st minute of the match. Thibault Draper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rockport AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Whitworth AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Roy was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Roy in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burt Benoit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the match, Rockport AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thibault Draper came free, but Olen Clemons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Fidel Bernier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Whitworth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Roy came free, but Burt Benoit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilburn Herman in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burt Benoit saved Whitworth AFC from getting behind. Wilburn Herman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Burt Benoit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burt Benoit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Roy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, one of Rockport AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Whitworth AFC. Clay Bureau stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Olen Clemons. 0-3. In the 82nd minute Fabian Roy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burt Benoit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Thibault Draper kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olen Clemons. That made the score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. Rockport AFC's Olen Clemons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thibault Draper in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Wilburn Herman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burt Benoit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Dominique Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rockport AFC's Maurice Ennis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Whitworth AFC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Whitworth AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
