Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samual Flint took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Samual Flint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute César Holloway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Meier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilton Byrd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Deserres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Hilton Byrd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosetown FC's Harry Deserres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Rosetown FC from getting a goal against them. Hilton Byrd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 31 in the game by Samual Flint from a close distance when the talented Harry Deserres managed to make a qualified save. Rosetown FC's players were relieved. When Roderick Cousteau came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Rosetown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roderick Cousteau couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Dillon Whitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36thth minute of the game Delmar Rock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vermillion's Roland Meier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delmar Rock took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Meier. Roland Meier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Samual Flint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samual Flint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Deserres having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 57th minute, Samual Flint got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rosetown FC! Augustine Duclos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Brain Wilkinson charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brain Wilkinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Rosetown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brain Wilkinson to maneuver through the defense. Samual Flint hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Lemons during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rosetown FC booed when Vermillion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Lemons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Rock kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilton Byrd in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Deserres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dillon Whitt's late challenge caught a Rosetown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dillon Whitt helped the player get up and apologised. 81 minutes into the match, Rosetown FC's Roderick Cousteau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Meier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samual Flint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roderick Cousteau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Holloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Meier having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match Raymond Coupart shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harry Deserres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Hilton Byrd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Deserres was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Vermillion supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rosetown FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rosetown FC.
