Acme FC's Darius Fluet got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Savage kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Georges Crain scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reuben Lin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th match minute, Acme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leroy Pope to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Haas in the 26th minute of play forced Acme FC's goalkeeper Garret Burgess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Amos Haas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waterdown's supporters rose to their feet, but Amos Haas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garret Burgess breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georges Crain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carey Rouleau hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Fritz Stapleton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georges Crain in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reuben Lin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reuben Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georges Crain in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amos Haas made a kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Waterdown's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fritz Stapleton was slow to take the kick. During this time Acme FC's players had a chance to rest. Fritz Stapleton made a great header on Acme FC's corner, it was just that Waterdown's Reuben Lin managed to reach the ball for a save. Garret Burgess showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Haas in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Amos Haas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Garret Burgess was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Cyril Autier fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acme FC's protests and gave Cyril Autier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Acme FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cyril Autier hit a great ball. In the 70th match minute, Acme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jared Grady to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes, Marion Fowler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waterdown and the Acme FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Waterdown! Waterdown:s Reuben Lin showed great skill when he stopped Fritz Stapleton:s penalty. If Darius Fluet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reuben Lin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darius Fluet in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Acme FC's Cyril Autier seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cyril Autier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Acme FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cyril Autier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 85 minutes into the game, one of Acme FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 90th minute, Amos Haas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Acme FC's zone, Jérôme Alfaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garret Burgess came out of the goal and Jérôme Alfaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
