Philippe Pruitt might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lothaire Petersen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philippe Pruitt ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, Douglastown's goalkeeper Lothaire Petersen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philippe Pruitt. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montmartre reached it. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lothaire Petersen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Philippe Pruitt might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lothaire Petersen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philippe Pruitt ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montmartre players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Douglastown.
