Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Léonce Cummings started the match with the kick off. When Gavin Libby fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niagara FC's protests and gave Gavin Libby a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Montmartre booed when Niagara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavin Libby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Homer Davis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Niagara FC's Ashley Storey didn't even have to move. If Milo Kaplan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léonce Cummings struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Troy English didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niagara FC. After 17 minutes of play, Montmartre's Philippe Pruitt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ashley Storey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Léonce Cummings recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philippe Pruitt got free with Ashley Storey in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Philippe Pruitt could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Ashley Storey however easily saved by the left post. Philippe Pruitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Storey having to interfere. Nicky Mahoney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Storey having to interfere. Niagara FC's Ashley Storey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Niagara FC from getting a goal against them. Nathanael Caballero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Storey having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Nicky Mahoney fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 46 minutes into the match, Niagara FC's goalkeeper Ashley Storey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philippe Pruitt. After having played for 47 minutes, Daniel Jacques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montmartre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Jacques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Mahoney was the one to do the kick off. Nicky Mahoney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ashley Storey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milo Kaplan got free with Troy English in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ashley Storey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Mahoney, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Troy English showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Beauchamp in the 66th minute of the match. When Milo Kaplan came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Niagara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milo Kaplan couldn't finish the play. Nathanael Caballero hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Montmartre's goalkeeper Troy English had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milo Kaplan. In the 87th minute, Nicky Mahoney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montmartre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Nicky Mahoney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Storey having to interfere. Philippe Pruitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ashley Storey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Philippe Pruitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ashley Storey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
