Eric Phaneuf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Anthony Couch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Louisburg getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lenard Peters hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Louisburg's zone, Erick Provencher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Couch came out of the goal and Erick Provencher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lothaire Petersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Louisburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Bédard to maneuver through the defense. Lothaire Petersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Mathieu in the 34th minute of the match. Lothaire Petersen was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Lucien Mathieu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucien Mathieu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucien Mathieu to make the kick off. Lucien Mathieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lothaire Petersen having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Christian Bédard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Douglastown's Lothaire Petersen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Lucien Mathieu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Aldo Evans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lenard Peters was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Louisburg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
