If Dave Cowan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Cowans short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Cornell Aragon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 25 minutes into the match, Ralston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antwan Hobson came free, but Gregorio Fountain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornell Aragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Cowan's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Valère Joly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Fountain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valère Joly to make the kick off. Gregorio Fountain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirkella FC. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Félix Weathers sped through Kirkella FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cornell Aragon. In the 77th minute, Valère Joly fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gregorio Fountain, passed just outside the right post. Dave Cowan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Kirkella FC's Valère Joly slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gregorio Fountain. That made the score 1-3 after 91 minutes of play. When Valère Joly came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Kirkella FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valère Joly couldn't finish the play.
