The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Papillion Lyon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julien Carlisle. Diodore Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julien Carlisle made a huge save. 12 minutes into the game, Murdale FC's Diodore Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julien Carlisle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Murdale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Blevins to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Luke Gallegos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Moser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julien Carlisle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freeman Mullen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. After 29 played minutes Murdale FC got a freekick which was hit by Mary Reyna. The audience was convinced that Daniel Brunault's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Moser was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 34 minutes, Lorenzo Blevins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murdale FC and the Woking players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diodore Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julien Carlisle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivier McClellan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Woking's goal looked a bit too open when Diodore Garcia came free, but Julien Carlisle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Diodore Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
