When Leroy Haas came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Wishart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leroy Haas couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Val Ewing was the one to do the kick off. Vincent Schmitz got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Loverna AFC's zone, Tanner Hickey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murray Hernandez came out of the goal and Tanner Hickey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eddie Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
