Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Dodsland's Douglas Boyd started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute Kent Hathaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mason Sanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Aurelio Flaherty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bellburns and the Dodsland players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dodsland booed when Bellburns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Flaherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohammad Merchant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robt Lépicier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Hathaway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mason Sanders having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Bellburns's Kent Hathaway dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Abe Abraham's late challenge caught a Dodsland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abe Abraham helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Abe Abraham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmie Schultz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mohammad Merchant. Bellburns's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dodsland's Mason Sanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Hathaway in the 34th minute of play. Bruno Rudd kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Kent Hathaway came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Bellburns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Hathaway couldn't finish the play. Mason Sanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Hathaway in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kent Hathaway kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mason Sanders. That made the score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. Robt Lépicier took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohammad Merchant. Mohammad Merchant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kent Hathaway to make the kick off. If Robt Lépicier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abe Abraham hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Mohammad Merchant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd minute Kent Hathaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mason Sanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Hathaway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mason Sanders having to interfere. Mohammad Merchant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Boyd in the 68th minute of the match. Aurelio Flaherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mason Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Boyd struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Mohammad Merchant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dodsland. Robt Lépicier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mason Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Flaherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Douglas Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dodsland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Boyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Merchant having to interfere. Mohammad Merchant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Boyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abe Abraham kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Dodsland's Jimmie Schultz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 100th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mohammad Merchant but with some difficulty.
