When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Val Ewing made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Freeman Mullen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Diodore Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Murdale FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diodore Garcia couldn't finish the play. Christian Kimbrough kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes in the game, Christian Kimbrough dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Freeman Mullen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murdale FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freeman Mullen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murray Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murdale FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
