Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Mohammad Merchant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Val Ewing in the 3rd minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Loverna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Hathaway came free, but Murray Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Loverna AFC's Julian Shultz got a free kick in the 10th minute. Aurelio Flaherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Murray Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Kent Hathaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murray Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Kimbrough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Merchant having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Val Ewing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Christian Kimbrough came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Loverna AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Kimbrough couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Loverna AFC's Val Ewing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohammad Merchant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kent Hathaway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murray Hernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Flaherty in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute of the match Vincent Schmitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohammad Merchant skillfully saved the ball. Bellburns's Mohammad Merchant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Val Ewing in the 38th minute of play. Kent Hathaway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Murray Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Flaherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Val Ewing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Kimbrough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Mohammad Merchant made a huge save. If Christian Kimbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loverna AFC's Val Ewing got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loverna AFC's Julian Shultz suffered a sore thigh after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Bellburns getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Frederic Smart hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Bellburns defense, Christian Kimbrough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mohammad Merchant. The Bellburns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mohammad Merchant should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Hathaway in the 68th minute of play forced Loverna AFC's goalkeeper Murray Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Kimbrough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Kimbrough scored 0-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohammad Merchant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Loverna AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Stacey Hinton hit a great ball. Kent Hathaway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Kent Hathaway ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murray Hernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Loverna AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
