Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dewey Charpentier charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dewey Charpentier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leroy Haas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Emo's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Miller came free, but Marc Gillespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Haas in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Emo got a freekick which was hit by Alphonse Gibson. In the 9th minute, Aron Douglas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Emo's Marc Gillespie didn't even have to move. Billy Jameson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Leroy Haas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marc Gillespie was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emo's Shawn Pool got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Emo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Désiré Wesley hit a great ball. Leroy Haas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Gillespie having to interfere. Quintin Gunter kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Emo's Alphonse Gibson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Désiré Wesley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Désiré Wesley came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Emo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Désiré Wesley couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Emo booed when Wishart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintin Gunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Emo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shawn Pool to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Wishart's goalkeeper Cyrille Kaiser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billy Jameson. Désiré Wesley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Désiré Wesley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Désiré Wesley was the one to do the kick off. Alphonse Gibson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Eddie Miller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Gillespie having to interfere. After 63rd play minutes Eddie Miller shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Marc Gillespie and just under the crossbar into goal. Eddie Miller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Eddie Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, one of Emo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Emo. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Wishart. Aron Douglas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marc Gillespie. 0-2. Wishart's Leroy Haas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute Shawn Pool shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyrille Kaiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cyrille Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Shawn Pool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyrille Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Pool in the 99th minute of the match. Wishart's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
