In the 3rd minute, Daniel Brunault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre Early took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Grier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julien Carlisle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grady Nunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Brunault got free with Pierre Early in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd match minute, Forestville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Briggs to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Grier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Early having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Grier in the 36th minute of play forced Forestville AFC's goalkeeper Pierre Early to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julien Carlisle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Solomon Mobley, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Woking's Julien Carlisle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Solomon Mobley in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Solomon Mobley to strike the kick off in the second half. Pierre Early made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Woking's Dannie Dent got a free kick in the 75th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Solomon Mobley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forestville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Solomon Mobley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierre Early made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Brunault in the 82nd minute of play. Solomon Mobley struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Julien Carlisle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forestville AFC. Julien Carlisle made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Grady Nunn sent off a good shot on target. Rudolf Grier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre Early having to make a save. Rudolf Grier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Woking fans cheered their team off the field, for while Forestville AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
