Dodsland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wishart the free kick. In the 11th minute Douglas Boyd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyrille Kaiser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Miller struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Mason Sanders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wishart. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robt Lépicier in the 16th minute of play forced Wishart's goalkeeper Cyrille Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wishart's goalkeeper Cyrille Kaiser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Dodsland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Granville Goodson to maneuver through the defense. Eddie Miller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Mason Sanders when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Robt Lépicier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyrille Kaiser. Wishart's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robt Lépicier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Robt Lépicier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Douglas Boyd came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Dodsland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Boyd couldn't finish the play. Robt Lépicier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mason Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Haas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Dodsland got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Poole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Douglas Boyd was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Leroy Haas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mason Sanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dodsland's Dexter Harmon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dodsland's Mason Sanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Miller in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Wishart's Cyrille Kaiser got control of the ball when Robt Lépicier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leroy Haas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leroy Haas in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mason Sanders saved Dodsland from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Dodsland's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Haas came free, but Mason Sanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tod Addison kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Wishart's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Boyd came free, but Cyrille Kaiser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eddie Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wishart's Leroy Haas got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Dodsland players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
