Guillaume Kincaid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 17 minutes, Kent Hathaway managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellburns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Hathaway was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Standhope FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Boyer to maneuver through the defense. Kent Hathaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillaume Kincaid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Hathaway in the 44th minute of the match. Mohammad Merchant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apollinaire Fitch's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Abe Abraham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Standhope FC's Abel Barnes got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Apollinaire Fitch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
