Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shawn Pool recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diodore Garcia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Marc Gillespie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diodore Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Marc Gillespie made a huge save. Shawn Pool received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Miguel Moser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Shawn Pool got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murdale FC's Miguel Moser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Pool in the 29th minute of play. The Emo fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Emo's Shawn Pool looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Murdale FC's goalkeeper Miguel Moser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Billy Jameson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Désiré Wesley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Désiré Wesley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Miguel Moser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diodore Garcia in the 59th minute of play. If Billy Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Désiré Wesley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Moser, 1-2. 73 minutes into the game, Shawn Pool was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murdale FC the free kick. The supporters of Murdale FC booed when Emo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Pool didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes Murdale FC got a freekick which was hit by Freeman Mullen. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Emo! Darren Guidry shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Désiré Wesley came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Emo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Désiré Wesley couldn't finish the play. Murdale FC's Miguel Moser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Murdale FC from getting a goal against them. Désiré Wesley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moser having to interfere. The Emo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Emo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
