Wishart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murdale FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wishart's Rodger Sutherland got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Freeman Mullen came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Murdale FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freeman Mullen couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, Murdale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thad Connelly to maneuver through the defense. Wishart's Leroy Haas got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Murdale FC booed when Wishart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintin Gunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diodore Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyrille Kaiser having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wishart defense, Diodore Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cyrille Kaiser. The Wishart fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyrille Kaiser should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Wishart's zone, Diodore Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyrille Kaiser came out of the goal and Diodore Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Diodore Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyrille Kaiser. Wishart's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diodore Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Wishart's Cyrille Kaiser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Wishart from getting a goal against them. Cyrille Kaiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freeman Mullen in the 95th minute of play. Murdale FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
