Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Freeman Mullen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Murdale FC's Miguel Moser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grady Nunn in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Solomon Mobley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Moser was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Lorenzo Blevins came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pierre Early could save by the left post. If Freeman Mullen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grady Nunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Miguel Moser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freeman Mullen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Forestville AFC's Pierre Early played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freeman Mullen in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Forestville AFC booed when Murdale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mary Reyna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Villarreal kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Murdale FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lorenzo Blevins hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match Wilfredo Christie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Moser showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Freeman Mullen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 played minutes Forestville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Villarreal. After a rather tough play, Murdale FC's Mary Reyna got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Freeman Mullen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forestville AFC's Pierre Early was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Moser was a little too slow when Grady Nunn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-1. The Murdale FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Murdale FC's Freeman Mullen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 70 minutes, Diodore Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murdale FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diodore Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murdale FC's Freeman Mullen got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Forestville AFC's zone, Freeman Mullen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Early came out of the goal and Freeman Mullen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes of play, Murdale FC's Diodore Garcia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre Early was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Diodore Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Forestville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Freeman Mullen came free, but Pierre Early reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Forestville AFC's Pierre Early played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freeman Mullen in the 90th minute of play. Pierre Early took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mary Reyna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Diodore Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Early saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Grady Nunn came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Forestville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grady Nunn couldn't finish the play.
