The supporters of Loverna AFC booed when Woking was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Grier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Loverna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Grier came free, but Murray Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Val Ewing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Carlisle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murray Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Grier in the 24th minute of the match. Christian Kimbrough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julien Carlisle having to make a save. If Daniel Brunault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murray Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Grier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Loverna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Schmitz. The supporters of Loverna AFC booed when Woking was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivier McClellan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Val Ewing to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Loverna AFC's zone, Daniel Brunault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murray Hernandez came out of the goal and Daniel Brunault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Val Ewing fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Julien Carlisle came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Loverna AFC's Christian Kimbrough. But to his dismay, Christian Kimbrough quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Brunault in the 67th minute of play forced Loverna AFC's goalkeeper Murray Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Loverna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Shultz. If Rudolf Grier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Loverna AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Woking a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Keneth Watt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Loverna AFC's Murray Hernandez. 2-2. Daniel Brunault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Murray Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Loverna AFC's Julien Carlisle threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Val Ewing, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerrod Koehler during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Woking was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerrod Koehler to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Val Ewing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julien Carlisle was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
