In the 7th minute, Granville Goodson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Solomon Mobley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Robt Lépicier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Douglas Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dodsland's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Boyd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre Early breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Pierre Early managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Dodsland's Robt Lépicier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Douglas Boyd might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre Early. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Boyd ran back to his position shaking his head. Pierre Early showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Boyd in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Douglas Boyd tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pierre Early saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Solomon Mobley put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mason Sanders. Solomon Mobley struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Mason Sanders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forestville AFC. Robt Lépicier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre Early having to make a save. After having played for 40 minutes, Douglas Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dodsland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Forestville AFC's Pierre Early played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Boyd in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Grady Nunn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forestville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grady Nunn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mason Sanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mason Sanders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grady Nunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Solomon Mobley succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 65th minute, Grady Nunn made a precise shot to the right of Mason Sanders. Dodsland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 68 played minutes Forestville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Loic Stroud. 73 minutes into the game, Dodsland's Douglas Boyd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pierre Early made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 78th minute Douglas Boyd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Early saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tod Addison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Early having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Boyd in the 82nd minute of play forced Forestville AFC's goalkeeper Pierre Early to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Douglas Boyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mason Sanders made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Grady Nunn sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Dodsland's Granville Goodson got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Dodsland's goal looked a bit too open when Solomon Mobley came free, but Mason Sanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dodsland's Mason Sanders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Dodsland from getting a goal against them. The Forestville AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Forestville AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
