An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Pouliotte in the 3rd minute of play forced Pennington's goalkeeper Emerson Oneill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawa AFC's Jose Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Rodrigues in the 7th minute of play. Arlen Tatum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jose Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arlen Tatum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Harris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Rodrigues in the 27th minute of the match. Pennington were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Wawa AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shaun Edwards took the corner. Pennington's Shaun Edwards was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jose Harris in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rogelio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jose Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Harris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlen Tatum, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlen Tatum made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Wawa AFC's zone, Rogelio Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Harris came out of the goal and Rogelio Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th match minute, Pennington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin Conner to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Bourgeau's late challenge caught a Wawa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Bourgeau helped the player get up and apologised. Vicente Bourgeau kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Milo Pruett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arlen Tatum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Pouliotte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Emerson Oneill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pennington getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Albert Stapleton hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Guillermo Ali sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pennington's Emerson Oneill didn't even have to move. Arlen Tatum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Harris having to interfere. If Rogelio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pennington's Arlen Tatum pulled a muscle in his leg after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Shelton Maddox's late challenge caught a Pennington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shelton Maddox helped the player get up and apologised. When Wawa AFC's Rosendo Pouliotte in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pennington's goalie prevented a goal. Rosendo Pouliotte succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Rogelio Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Harris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Milo Pruett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Emerson Oneill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wawa AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pennington for a fine match.
