Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Régis Bloom got the match started through his kick off. Olen Espinosa charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olen Espinosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wawa AFC booed when Noranda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olen Espinosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Sweeney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milo Pruett went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 31 played minutes Noranda got a freekick which was hit by Olen Espinosa. 35 minutes into the match, Clyde Santos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Wawa AFC's Jose Harris. Jose Harris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gil Sweeney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Pouliotte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Pouliotte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Sweeney having to interfere. Gil Sweeney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Pouliotte in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Rosendo Pouliotte scored 1-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Sweeney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Milo Pruett came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Wawa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milo Pruett couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Pouliotte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Sweeney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 68 played minutes Wawa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Shelton Maddox. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lemuel Arroyo in the 70th minute of play forced Wawa AFC's goalkeeper Jose Harris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Alva Auger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noranda and the Wawa AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alva Auger kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rosendo Pouliotte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wawa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Pouliotte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Sweeney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 81 minutes, Darius Gladu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wawa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darius Gladu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosendo Pouliotte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Sweeney having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Rosendo Pouliotte got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Wawa AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wawa AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
