Napoleon Velasco hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to Donnaconna getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Raphael Weaver hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Forrest McClelland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Forrest McClelland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Forrest McClelland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Bloom in the 25th minute of play forced Donnaconna's goalkeeper Ned Pike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Boyles to make the kick off. Régis Bloom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Régis Bloom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ned Pike having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Régis Bloom in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ned Pike prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Forrest McClelland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Sweeney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ned Pike made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Clyde Santos sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes, Olen Espinosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noranda and the Donnaconna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Olen Espinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Forrest McClelland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Sweeney was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gil Sweeney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Forrest McClelland in the 80th minute of play. Clyde Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ned Pike made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dillon Carlson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Donnaconna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dillon Carlson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Donnaconna's zone, Clyde Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ned Pike came out of the goal and Clyde Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Régis Bloom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noranda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Bloom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Raphael Weaver fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donnaconna's protests and gave Raphael Weaver a yellow card for diving instead. Raphael Weaver hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ned Pike was a little too slow when Régis Bloom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
