Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Régis Livingston made the kick off and thus started the match. When Kris Veronneau fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shawbridge's protests and gave Kris Veronneau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Shawbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Veronneau to maneuver through the defense. Albert Connelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Trinidad Houser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Sylvester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Crenshaw in the 13th minute of the match. Trinidad Houser made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Albert Connelly sent off a good shot on target. If Rick Crenshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Rick Crenshaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Connelly might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trinidad Houser. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Connelly ran back to his position shaking his head. Régis Livingston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Trinidad Houser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Connelly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Trinidad Houser made a huge save. Régis Livingston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonah Ly charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonah Ly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Morley FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonah Ly. In the 41st minute, Albert Connelly made a precise shot to the right of Trinidad Houser. Morley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rick Crenshaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rick Crenshaw was the one to do the kick off. Dion Heller took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Sylvester. Tony Sylvester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Crenshaw in the 62nd minute of play forced Shawbridge's goalkeeper Tony Sylvester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trinidad Houser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Livingston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Régis Livingston struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Trinidad Houser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shawbridge. After having played for 75 minutes, Murray Baron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shawbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murray Baron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Régis Livingston in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trinidad Houser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dion Heller got free with Tony Sylvester in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dion Heller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tony Sylvester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Shawbridge's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rick Crenshaw fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dion Heller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Tony Sylvester made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
