An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibault Manley in the 21st minute of play forced Trail's goalkeeper Aurelio Peters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Trail booed when Dover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo McNeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Donte Gadbois who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trail's Aurelio Peters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Trail's Hung Rosa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donte Gadbois got free with Aurelio Peters in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Dover's zone, Florencio Lemieux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Abrams came out of the goal and Florencio Lemieux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Dover's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Lemieux came free, but Robin Abrams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rick Drake struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Robin Abrams didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trail. Donte Gadbois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Aurelio Peters made a huge save. When Dover's Thibault Manley in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trail's goalie prevented a goal. Robin Abrams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibault Manley in the 94th minute of play forced Trail's goalkeeper Aurelio Peters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 100th minute, Alphonse Louis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Trail's Aurelio Peters didn't even have to move.
