The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Centreville FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Tim Chauvin hit a great ball. Grégoire Stoner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ollie Hanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Tommie Jacobs from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Ollie Hanson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Michal Lawler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Hanson having to interfere. Eloi Myrick hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ollie Hanson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grégoire Stoner's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Jewell Pike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kendall Stockton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kendall Stockton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jewell Pike read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Marius Rosales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Marius Rosales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jewell Pike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donalda FC's Jewell Pike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Rosales in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Donalda FC's goalkeeper Jewell Pike, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grégoire Stoner was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Kendall Stockton lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Jewell Pike. Marius Rosales who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Jewell Pike when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jewell Pike was a little too slow when Kendall Stockton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Jewell Pike made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Marius Rosales sent off a good shot on target. Michal Lawler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Hanson having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Centreville FC got a freekick which was hit by Eloi Myrick. A collision led to Centreville FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marius Rosales hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grégoire Stoner in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ollie Hanson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Grégoire Stoner came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Donalda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grégoire Stoner couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Centreville FC's Marius Rosales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jewell Pike narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timmy Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Donalda FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Centreville FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Centreville FC.
