In the 6th minute, Thibault Manley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donalda FC's Jewell Pike proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Donalda FC from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Donte Gadbois ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jewell Pike was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Dover defense, Grégoire Stoner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Abrams. The Dover fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Abrams should have stopped the shot. Grégoire Stoner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Robin Abrams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Donalda FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thibault Manley fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jewell Pike made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Donte Gadbois sent off a good shot on target. Thibault Manley struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jewell Pike didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dover. Donte Gadbois was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Dover's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Thibault Manley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Donte Gadbois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dover's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donte Gadbois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donte Gadbois received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jewell Pike came out and tried to block the shot, but Donte Gadbois slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thibault Manley made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donte Gadbois in the 58th minute of play forced Donalda FC's goalkeeper Jewell Pike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Thibault Manley came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Dover fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thibault Manley couldn't finish the play. Jewell Pike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibault Manley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timmy Sanchez hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Donte Gadbois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robin Abrams made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michal Lawler in the 68th minute. A collision led to Donalda FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Séverin Ventura hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Thibault Manley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jewell Pike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Donalda FC's zone, Donte Gadbois stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jewell Pike came out of the goal and Donte Gadbois tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Donte Gadbois's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jewell Pike was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Donalda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Dennis to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Michal Lawler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michal Lawler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
