Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Odis Roland started the match with the kick off. Godelieve Ly who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Peters when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Godelieve Ly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Peters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Aurelio Peters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odis Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Wasa getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Odis Roland hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Hung Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godelieve Ly in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurelio Peters, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 23 minutes, Florencio Lemieux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trail's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Lemieux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute of the match, Odis Roland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurelio Peters saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Godelieve Ly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Wasa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 34 minutes into the match Godelieve Ly climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Aurelio Peters. If Godelieve Ly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Nava hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trail's goalkeeper Aurelio Peters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Trail's goal looked a bit too open when Godelieve Ly came free, but Aurelio Peters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Lemieux made a kick off. Aurelio Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odis Roland in the 54th minute of the match. Raul Cornell hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Rick Drake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67th play minutes Godelieve Ly shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Aurelio Peters and just under the crossbar into goal. Florencio Lemieux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kurtis Buckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godelieve Ly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Peters having to interfere. Trail's Aurelio Peters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godelieve Ly in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Wasa booed when Trail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Tillman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wasa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trail had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
