In the 10th minute, Milo Horne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Tribune AFC defense, Donte Gadbois kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerry Naquin. The Tribune AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerry Naquin should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes in the game, Milo Horne fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Robin Abrams having to interfere. In the 25th minute Donte Gadbois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Naquin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibault Manley in the 27th minute of play forced Tribune AFC's goalkeeper Jerry Naquin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerry Naquin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo McNeal in the 28th minute of play. Jerry Naquin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lothaire Staples, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Romain Fair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tribune AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dover the free kick. Romain Fair hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milo Horne made a kick off. Jerry Naquin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibault Manley, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute, Milo Horne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Donte Gadbois cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jerry Naquin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Donte Gadbois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Tribune AFC's Thomas Garland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Abrams narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donte Gadbois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jerry Naquin made a huge save. When Normand Dennison fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tribune AFC's protests and gave Normand Dennison a yellow card for diving instead. Tribune AFC's Jerry Naquin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Tribune AFC from getting a goal against them.
