Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alton Petrie started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Miles Riel made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Normandeau's Morris Pendleton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustache Massey in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamaal Noble saved Stillwater from getting behind. Alton Petrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Morris Pendleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stillwater booed when Normandeau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zane Solis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stillwater's Jamaal Noble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boniface John in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miles Riel got free with Morris Pendleton in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustache Massey made a kick off. If Miles Riel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Morris Pendleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alton Petrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Miles Riel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Morris Pendleton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miles Riel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Reginald Wilson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Alton Petrie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stillwater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alton Petrie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alton Petrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alton Petrie might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Morris Pendleton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alton Petrie ran back to his position shaking his head. If Miles Riel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, Stillwater's Alton Petrie made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Morris Pendleton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stillwater's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
