Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Lasqueti's Darryl Pelletier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Lasqueti's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Carignan came free, but Marshall Dupree reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Boyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Pelletier in the 9th minute of the match. Roscoe Bergeron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Marshall Dupree tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Theo Carignan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemptville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Carignan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marshall Dupree breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute of the match Darryl Ackerman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marshall Dupree skillfully saved the ball. In the 15th minute, Roscoe Bergeron made a precise shot to the right of Marshall Dupree. Lasqueti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Lasqueti's Everette Goodson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Boyer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Pelletier in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Boyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Everette Goodson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lasqueti's supporters rose to their feet, but Everette Goodson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Boyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Boyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everette Goodson in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Kemptville AFC's Diego Boyer got control of the ball when Everette Goodson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Darryl Pelletier took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Diego Boyer to make any attempt to save it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Theo Carignan in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marshall Dupree, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roscoe Bergeron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Carignan got free with Marshall Dupree in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Darryl Pelletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Everette Goodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theo Carignan struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Marshall Dupree didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemptville AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brant Bourgouin during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Kemptville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brant Bourgouin to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lasqueti's goalkeeper Marshall Dupree, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Theo Carignan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theo Carignan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marshall Dupree read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Roscoe Bergeron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marshall Dupree having to interfere. Willis Meier kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Kemptville AFC got a corner. Lasqueti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gérald Soucy ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kemptville AFC's Gérald Soucy to fire away a dangerous shot which Marshall Dupree despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Everette Goodson struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Diego Boyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lasqueti. Kemptville AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
