Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 0) Delbert Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randell Coulombe having to interfere. Brock Kearney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Arlen Patry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Randell Coulombe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Chatigny, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 14 played minutes Neptune got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Hart. After having played for 16 minutes, Delbert Ingram managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belmont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delbert Ingram was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Belmont booed when Neptune was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alain Brochu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lewis Chatigny struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Randell Coulombe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belmont. Delbert Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randell Coulombe having to interfere. With his leg Arlen Patry managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Neptune's Brock Kearney fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arlen Patry came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Neptune's Brock Kearney. But to his dismay, Brock Kearney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Delbert Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randell Coulombe having to interfere. When Lewis Chatigny came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Belmont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Chatigny couldn't finish the play. Delbert Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randell Coulombe having to interfere. Lucien Perdue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlen Patry having to interfere.
If Lucien Perdue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arlen Patry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucien Perdue, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Truman Wheeler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brock Kearney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Neptune's Rene Rowland got a free kick in the 65th minute. Arlen Patry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Perdue in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Belmont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Garceau to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Neptune booed when Belmont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antony Garceau didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Neptune's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Chatigny came free, but Randell Coulombe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delbert Ingram got free with Randell Coulombe in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, Neptune could leave the field as winners, despite Belmont having more of the ball for most of the match.
