Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jody Faulkner got the match started through his kick off. Orval Montoya struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Collin Mothé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whelan. After a defensive mix-up in Weldon AFC's zone, Jody Faulkner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Collin Mothé came out of the goal and Jody Faulkner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th match minute, Weldon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Garnier to maneuver through the defense. Jody Faulkner scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Collin Mothé, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerard Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymon Golden in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Weldon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jame Romero. 17 minutes into the match, Weldon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jody Faulkner came free, but Collin Mothé reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Whelan's Jody Faulkner in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Weldon AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute, Marlin Golden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Jody Faulkner fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Collin Mothé was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Léonce Sawyer. Collin Mothé showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jody Faulkner in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Jody Faulkner made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Weldon AFC's Collin Mothé tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Whelan getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Baudouin Gifford hit a great ball. Guy Hammons didn't quite understand what happened when in the 42 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 44th minute, Raymon Golden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Weldon AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 50th minute, Raymon Golden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerard Thomas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Wilson was the one to do the kick off. Geraldo Christian hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Fernando Wilson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Weldon AFC's Fernando Wilson in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gerard Thomas guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Fernando Wilson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gerard Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Weldon AFC booed when Whelan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas McCullough didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymon Golden came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gerard Thomas could save by the left post. If Raymon Golden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Weldon AFC's Fernando Wilson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerard Thomas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Collin Mothé came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Whelan's Orval Montoya. But to his dismay, Orval Montoya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Fernando Wilson struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gerard Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weldon AFC. Collin Mothé showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orval Montoya in the 95th minute of the match. Whelan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
