Delbert Ingram in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reynaldo Kirkpatrick, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Truman Wheeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Kirkpatrick having to interfere. Belmont's Delbert Ingram got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Fitgerald FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Chatigny came free, but Reynaldo Kirkpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlen Patry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Whitaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Belmont getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sammie Lowe hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fitgerald FC's zone, Lewis Chatigny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Kirkpatrick came out of the goal and Lewis Chatigny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 23 in the game by Delbert Ingram from a close distance when the talented Reynaldo Kirkpatrick managed to make a qualified save. Fitgerald FC's players were relieved. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Tyree Tapia put in a rough tackle. After 34 minutes, Charles Hess mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belmont and the Fitgerald FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Fitgerald FC. Kennith Bland stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arlen Patry. 1-1. After 38 minutes, Truman Wheeler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belmont and the Fitgerald FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Truman Wheeler hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Chatigny in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Huey Fox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Delbert Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delbert Ingram took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Kirkpatrick. Reynaldo Kirkpatrick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

Long Staton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delbert Ingram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belmont's Lewis Chatigny got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Long Staton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Long Staton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Arlen Patry made a huge save. If Huey Fox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lewis Chatigny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Kirkpatrick having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Scott Brochu during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fitgerald FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Scott Brochu hit a great ball. Delbert Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Kirkpatrick having to interfere. Lewis Chatigny struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Reynaldo Kirkpatrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belmont. Long Staton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Fitgerald FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 99 minutes into the match, Fitgerald FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delbert Ingram came free, but Reynaldo Kirkpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
