Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucien Perdue took the kick off in the first half of the match. Randell Coulombe came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Arvida's Rob Parent. But to his dismay, Rob Parent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Rob Parent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Arvida got a freekick which was hit by Rob Parent. Brock Kearney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt McNamara having to interfere. Dalton Patterson struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Randell Coulombe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arvida. In the 29th match minute, Neptune was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baptiste Lowry to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Arvida's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Perdue came free, but Wyatt McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucien Perdue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt McNamara having to interfere. Bernie Lacharité took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Randell Coulombe. Randell Coulombe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Arvida fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Arvida's Bernie Lacharité looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When Bernie Lacharité fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arvida's protests and gave Bernie Lacharité a yellow card for diving instead. Bernie Lacharité hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Neptune's Hipolito Grayson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Bernie Lacharité could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Randell Coulombe made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Lucien Perdue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wyatt McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Joel Cooley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arvida and the Neptune players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Neptune booed when Arvida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Cooley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucien Perdue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmer Barker hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Rene Rowland hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Lucien Perdue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neptune fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. A collision led to Neptune getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Delmer Barker hit a great ball. Dalton Patterson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvida's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
