The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Lewis Chatigny recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fredric Duran. Lewis Chatigny showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Midhurst's goalkeeper Fredric Duran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delbert Ingram. Mel Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delbert Ingram got free with Fredric Duran in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the game, Sammie Lowe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belmont's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Midhurst the free kick. After a rather tough play, Belmont's Sammie Lowe got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delbert Ingram got free with Fredric Duran in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Belmont's Lewis Chatigny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fredric Duran. Fredric Duran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Mel Rosa's late challenge caught a Belmont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mel Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Belmont booed when Midhurst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keenan Scales kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Delbert Ingram made a precise shot to the right of Fredric Duran. Midhurst's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Garfield McDonald struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Arlen Patry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midhurst. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Garfield McDonald sped through Belmont's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arlen Patry. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lewis Chatigny to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lewis Chatigny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Keenan Scales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredric Duran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Chatigny in the 66th minute of play. Fredric Duran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delbert Ingram in the 79th minute of the match. Ulrich Schroeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlen Patry having to interfere. Fredric Duran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delbert Ingram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
