Géraud Henley came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Clova's Jeremiah Villeneuve. But to his dismay, Jeremiah Villeneuve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Otis's Silas Pitts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximilien Henry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Norris Walters struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Géraud Henley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clova. After 20 played minutes, Clova's Ike Ly shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Géraud Henley came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clova reached it. The supporters of Clova booed when Otis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wally Poe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Charley Tyler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Géraud Henley was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Jeremiah Villeneuve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Charley Tyler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Géraud Henley having to interfere. In the 35th minute Charley Tyler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Géraud Henley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Denis Cain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Cain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Otis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clova were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clay Nixon to strike the kick off in the second half. Charley Tyler struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Géraud Henley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clova. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clay Nixon in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximilien Henry saved Clova from getting behind. In the 55thth minute of the game Clay Nixon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clova's Maximilien Henry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Charley Tyler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Géraud Henley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 63rd minute, Maximo Carey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximilien Henry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Nixon in the 65th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Clova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Patel to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clova's goalkeeper Maximilien Henry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silas Pitts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Maximilien Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Silas Pitts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilien Henry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jeremiah Villeneuve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Jeremiah Villeneuve fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Clay Nixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilien Henry having to interfere. The Otis supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Clova's performance. The match ended with a win for Clova.
