The Queens Park Rangers fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Queens Park Rangers's Maxwell Polk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the game, Queens Park Rangers's Myron McKenzie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Géraud Henley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 20 minutes, Silas Pitts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Pitts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edwin Doiron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Queens Park Rangers fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Queens Park Rangers's Edwin Doiron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th match minute, Queens Park Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flannery McGlenn to maneuver through the defense. Géraud Henley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Doiron, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Géraud Henley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Äli Zeynalov in the 36th minute of play. Myron McKenzie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Géraud Henley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Géraud Henley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myron McKenzie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Myron McKenzie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Géraud Henley was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Géraud Henley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Doiron in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clay Nixon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Edwin Doiron fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Géraud Henley, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Otis's Wally Poe got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clay Nixon in the 56th minute of play forced Queens Park Rangers's goalkeeper Phillip Beauchesne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Géraud Henley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Post in the 58th minute of play. Queens Park Rangers were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Otis's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Myron McKenzie took the corner. Queens Park Rangers's Edwin Doiron got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Myron McKenzie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Otis's goal looked a bit too open when Myron McKenzie came free, but Géraud Henley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Otis's goalkeeper Géraud Henley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxwell Polk. In the 70th minute Äli Zeynalov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Géraud Henley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 71 in the game by Myron McKenzie from a close distance when the talented Géraud Henley managed to make a qualified save. Otis's players were relieved. Phillip Beauchesne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Nixon in the 73rd minute of the match. If Edwin Doiron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Queens Park Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Caldwell. 87 minutes into the game, Maxwell Polk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Géraud Henley. Maxwell Polk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Otis's Rusty Friedman got a free kick in the 90th minute. Timmy Samuels kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Rusty Friedman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Queens Park Rangers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
