Charlemagne FC's Christian Warner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Charlemagne FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Charlemagne FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Blaine Hernandez hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Samuel Burnham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terrebonne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Burnham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Warner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Burnham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Del Lemelin might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lou Guilmette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Del Lemelin ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregory Lapresse during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gregory Lapresse kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Samuel Burnham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmine Fink kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Warner. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmine Fink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Warner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Burnham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damien Harper hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Terrebonne FC's Lou Guilmette got control of the ball when Chester Barber tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Charlemagne FC's zone, Carmine Fink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Warner came out of the goal and Carmine Fink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Samuel Burnham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chester Barber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lou Guilmette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
