When Humbert McCullough, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 2 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pedro Swenson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fernand McRae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terence Wise, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to Dasserat getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dane Ryder hit a great ball. Dasserat's Humbert McCullough got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Terence Wise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taloyoak FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Terence Wise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taloyoak FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terence Wise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Earl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernand McRae having to interfere. Pedro Swenson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humbert McCullough, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Taloyoak FC's Thad Gifford got a free kick in the 35th minute. Humbert McCullough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pedro Swenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Steve Daly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taloyoak FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dasserat the free kick. A collision led to Taloyoak FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Steve Daly hit a great ball. Pedro Swenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humbert McCullough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A long shot from Grant York in the 48th minute of play was well struck, but Pedro Swenson made a really good save at the right post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Fernand McRae managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Taloyoak FC's Terence Wise fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th minute, Humbert McCullough ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Swenson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 58th minute, Andy Wilkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Taloyoak FC's zone, Humbert McCullough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Swenson came out of the goal and Humbert McCullough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Taloyoak FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Long Crow hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Humbert McCullough ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Swenson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Heriberto Beausoleil struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Fernand McRae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taloyoak FC. Humbert McCullough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Pedro Swenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heriberto Beausoleil charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heriberto Beausoleil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Taloyoak FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Terence Wise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taloyoak FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Terence Wise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernand McRae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Terence Wise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Fernand McRae made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dasserat had won after a very even match.
