Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Charlemagne FC's Del Lemelin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Salvador Earl kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Taloyoak FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Del Lemelin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Charlemagne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terence Wise came free, but Christian Warner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Swenson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Del Lemelin in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terence Wise in the 25th minute of play forced Charlemagne FC's goalkeeper Christian Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Salvador Earl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Del Lemelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taloyoak FC's Pedro Swenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Del Lemelin in the 31st minute of play. If Del Lemelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chester Barber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Swenson having to make a save. Christian Warner came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Taloyoak FC's Salvador Earl. But to his dismay, Salvador Earl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Earl to make the kick off. The supporters of Taloyoak FC booed when Charlemagne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirk Dorsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Taloyoak FC's Steve Daly tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Christian Warner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Earl in the 65th minute of the match. Pedro Swenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chester Barber in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Earl in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Warner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Terence Wise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Taloyoak FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
